The Opportunity
As a Demand Planning & Forecasting Forward Deployed Engineer, you'll work directly with enterprise customers to understand how they forecast demand, manage inventory, and align supply with business needs. You'll translate those challenges into AI powered planning capabilities that become part of the ManoloAI platform.
This role sits at the intersection of supply chain expertise, product strategy, customer engagement, and engineering. You'll help shape how AI transforms demand planning and supply chain decision making.
What You'll Do
Partner with customers to understand demand planning, forecasting, inventory, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
Map business workflows and identify opportunities for AI driven automation and decision support.
Translate customer requirements into scalable product capabilities.
Collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, and software engineers to design planning solutions.
Validate new product features with customers and provide continuous feedback to engineering.
Support customer implementations, pilots, and solution adoption.
Stay current on forecasting techniques, supply chain trends, and AI innovations.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain planning, or inventory optimization.
Experience with planning platforms such as SAP IBP, Oracle Supply Chain Planning, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis RapidResponse, o9 Solutions, Anaplan, or similar solutions.
Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory planning, replenishment, and S&OP.
Ability to translate complex business problems into product requirements.
Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
